Leaving Github

why am I going to leave my blog in Github?
Because I don't need a control version system to post.
Because I only need a static site blog, writing in text files in markdown.
The whole blog is 10Mb sized with images included.
But my ".git" folder occupies 50Mb?!
No every tech guy needs git to publish a blog.
So I'm moving to https://wwww.julb.es with bashblog that is the simplest static site blog I found.
